Message your PT or Health Coach right from the Hinge Health app

Musculoskeletal pain doesn't follow a schedule. It can disrupt your day (or night!) and make even simple tasks challenging. At Hinge Health, we understand the importance of accessing care easily and on your terms, whenever it suits you best.

Within the My Care tab of the Hinge Health app, you could already schedule visits with your licensed physical therapist or board-certified health coach. We’ve since added the ability to communicate with your care team directly, through a simple chat interface. This feature allows you to receive prompt and secure HIPPA-compliant responses from your care team within the app, no need to write an email or a text message. 

By messaging directly with your care team, you have the flexibility to seek assistance wherever you are, without the need for an appointment or video call. This means you can more easily collaborate with your licensed PT to tailor your care plan and adjust your exercise therapy regimen. Similarly, you can chat with your health coach for expert help on habit formation, information about the program, and to check in on the progress of your treatment.

The messaging experience is available to all Hinge Health members, both new and existing, within the My Care tab in the Hinge Health app. Unlike other digital PT providers, Hinge Health provides access to all aspects of your treatment program, including messaging, from a single app. If you don’t yet have access to Hinge Health, you can check here to see if your employer or health plan is one of the more than 1,700 companies that we already work with.
